SVG to PNG in 3 steps

  1. Choose the .svg logos, icons or drawings you want as images.
  2. Press "Convert to PNG"; each vector is drawn onto a pixel canvas.
  3. Download the PNG, or a ZIP when you converted a whole icon set.

Why ConvertKoala?

  • Background stays see-through

Logos keep their empty areas empty, so they sit cleanly on coloured slides, banners and product mock-ups.

  • Tiny icons come out big

A 24 px icon file would make a blurry PNG. We render small SVGs so the longest side is at least 1024 px.

  • Fits where SVG is refused

PowerPoint on older Office, Instagram, WhatsApp, marketplaces and most CMS image fields want pixels, not vectors.

  • Brand files stay private

Unreleased logos and client artwork are drawn in your browser tab and never travel to a server.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between SVG and PNG?

SVG describes shapes with maths (lines, curves, fills), so it scales to any size without blur. PNG stores a fixed grid of pixels. Designers deliver logos as SVG; many apps, social networks and documents only accept pixel images like PNG.

What size will the PNG be?

We use the width and height written in the SVG. If that is small, the drawing is scaled up so the longest side reaches at least 1024 px, which keeps edges sharp. Need an exact size afterwards? Use Resize Image.

Will the transparent background survive?

Yes. Areas the SVG leaves unpainted stay transparent in the PNG. If you need a solid white background instead, use SVG to JPG.

Why does the text in my PNG use a different font?

Some SVGs only name a font instead of carrying it inside the file. If that font isn’t installed on your device, the browser substitutes a similar one. In Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape, convert text to outlines (paths) before exporting to avoid this.

Part of my SVG is missing in the PNG. Why?

SVGs that link to outside images or stylesheets, or use scripts, can’t pull those pieces in when drawn as a picture. Self-contained SVGs, the usual export from design tools, convert completely.

Can I convert a whole icon set at once?

Yes. Select all the .svg files together; each becomes its own PNG and they download as one ZIP.
