SVG to JPG in 3 steps

  1. Add the .svg artwork the form or shop keeps rejecting.
  2. Press "Convert to JPG"; empty areas are filled with white.
  3. Save the JPG and upload it; several files come as a ZIP.

Why ConvertKoala?

  • Passes "JPG only" uploads

Application portals, seller dashboards and print-order forms often accept nothing but .jpg. This gets your artwork through.

  • No black box surprise

Saving a transparent graphic as JPG in some tools turns the empty parts black. We paint them white on purpose.

  • Small and easy to send

A JPG of a logo or diagram is usually light enough to attach to an email or paste into a chat.

  • Drawn on your device

Your SVG is rendered inside the browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged or kept.

Frequently asked questions

Why would I need a JPG of an SVG?

Plenty of places predate SVG or block it for security: government and job application forms, marketplace listing pages, some print shops and older email clients. JPG is the one image type they all take.

What happens to the transparent parts?

JPG can’t store transparency, so every empty area is filled with white. Your artwork looks as it would printed on white paper. To keep the background see-through, use SVG to PNG instead.

Will thin lines and text stay sharp?

They are drawn at the SVG’s own size, or larger if it is tiny, then saved at about 92% quality. JPG is tuned for photos, so very fine lines on flat colour can show faint fuzz up close. For crisp line art, PNG is the better pick.

Is the JPG still scalable like the SVG?

No. The result is a fixed grid of pixels. Keep the original SVG for anything that needs resizing later, such as signage or print.

Can I pick a background colour other than white?

Not on this page; white is what forms and marketplaces expect. If you need another colour, convert to PNG and place it on a coloured background in your editor.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Open the page in your mobile browser, pick the SVG from your files app and the JPG is saved back to your phone, ready to upload.
