Privacy Policy

The short version: your files stay on your device, we don’t ask who you are, and we tell you plainly what the site does and doesn’t collect. Last updated: 21 October 2026.

Your files

Every ConvertKoala tool runs entirely inside your browser. When you merge PDFs or convert images, the work is done by code running on your own phone or computer. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else’s; there is no upload endpoint at all. The finished file is created on your device and downloaded from there. When you close the page, nothing remains.

Because we never receive your files, we cannot see, store, scan or share them, and we have no copies to delete.

Accounts and personal data

There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information to use the tools. If you write to us, we keep your message only to reply to it.

Analytics

Right now the site runs no analytics scripts. In the future we may use a privacy-respecting analytics service that counts page views in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. If that changes, this page will say so.

Advertising and cookies

To cover hosting costs we may show advertisements, delivered by partners such as Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.

Ad partners never have access to your files; ads are shown next to the result, not inside the tool, and the conversion itself involves no third party.

Apart from advertising cookies, the site stores only small preferences in your browser, such as dismissing the language notice. These never leave your device.

Hosting

Like any website, our server and content delivery provider receive standard technical data when pages are requested, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. This data is not used to identify you.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
