Rotate an image in 3 steps

  1. Choose your JPG, PNG or WebP images.
  2. Pick 90° right, 90° left, 180°, or flip horizontally or vertically.
  3. Press "Rotate" and download (several images come as one ZIP).

Why ConvertKoala?

  • Rotate and mirror

Turn 90° either way or 180°, or flip horizontally to un-mirror a selfie. Vertical flip is there too.

  • Sideways photos fixed

Phone photos are read with their orientation info, so what you see here is what gets rotated.

  • Many images at once

Apply the same rotation to a whole batch and get them back in one ZIP. No caps, no account.

  • Nothing leaves your device

Rotation runs in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my photo look sideways on some sites?

Phones often save a photo in one direction and add a small note telling apps how to turn it. Some websites and programs ignore that note, so the photo shows up sideways. This tool reads the note, applies it, then saves the image already upright, so it looks right everywhere.

How do I fix a mirrored selfie?

Choose the selfie, pick "Flip horizontal" and press "Rotate". Text and logos that looked backwards will read the right way again.

Can I rotate several images at once?

Yes. Choose as many images as you like; the same rotation or flip is applied to all of them and you download them together as one ZIP file.

Does rotating reduce the quality?

PNG and WebP are saved without visible change. A JPG has to be re-saved after rotating; we use high quality, so the difference is very hard to spot. The output keeps the original format.

Can I rotate photos on my phone?

Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser, tap "Choose files" and pick your photos. JPG, PNG and WebP are supported; iPhone’s HEIC format is not supported yet.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your images never reach our servers, and nothing is kept once you close the page.
