TIFF to PDF in 3 steps

  1. Add the scanned .tif or .tiff pages, one file per page.
  2. Drag them into reading order, then press "Convert to PDF".
  3. Download one PDF that holds every page in that order.

Why ConvertKoala?

  • One document, not ten files

Banks, insurers and HR teams want a single PDF. Ten separate page scans become one attachment.

  • You set the page order

Scanner named page 10 before page 2? Move files up or down before converting and the PDF follows.

  • Opens on every device

Few phones or browsers show TIFF, but every one of them opens a PDF, so the reader sees your scan straight away.

  • Paperwork stays private

Contracts, tax forms and ID copies are assembled in your browser and never reach a server.

Frequently asked questions

How are the pages arranged?

Each TIFF file becomes one PDF page, in the order shown in the list. Use the up and down buttons to fix the order before you convert.

My scanner saved a multi-page TIFF. Will all pages come through?

No, only the first page of a multi-page TIFF is used. If your scanner can save each page as its own TIFF, do that and add them all here; you’ll get every page in one PDF.

Will the PDF be blurry?

Pages are placed at their scanned resolution, so text stays as readable as in the TIFF. A 300 dpi scan gives a crisp printable PDF.

Why is my PDF large?

High-resolution colour scans hold a lot of detail. If an upload limit is tight, convert the TIFFs with TIFF to JPG first, shrink them with Compress Image, then combine them with JPG to PDF.

Is the text in the PDF searchable?

No. The pages are pictures of your paper, just like the TIFF. Making text selectable requires OCR, which this tool doesn’t do.

Can I add a JPG or PNG page as well?

Yes. Ordinary image files can sit in the same list, so a photographed receipt can go right next to your scanned pages.
