Why ConvertKoala?

  • Your PDF stays with you

Pages are separated right in your browser. The document is never uploaded, so contracts and records stay private.

  • Two ways to split

Break the whole file into single pages, or keep only the pages you name. One tool covers both jobs.

  • Free with no caps

No page limit, no file limit, no daily quota and no account. Split as many PDFs as you need.

  • Phone or desktop

Runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac. There is no app to install.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract certain pages from a PDF?

Choose "Extract pages" and type the pages you want, using commas and dashes: for example 1-3, 7 gives you pages 1, 2, 3 and 7. Those pages are saved together as one new PDF, in the order they appear in the original.

Can I split every page into a separate PDF?

Yes. Choose "Every page" and each page becomes its own PDF file. Because that can be many files, you download them all at once in a single ZIP.

Does splitting reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and images stay untouched. Nothing is re-compressed or converted.

Can I split a PDF on my phone?

Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser, tap "Choose files", pick the PDF and choose a mode. The result downloads to your phone. It works the same on iPhone and Android.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Not yet. Open the file with its password, save an unprotected copy, then add that copy here. If a file is encrypted, we tell you clearly instead of failing silently.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The split happens inside your browser on your own device. Your PDF never reaches our servers, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
